1. Who we are

2. What Finethicals Tradesman does
Finethicals Tradesman is business software designed to help tradespeople estimate job pricing, understand business costs, save jobs, and prepare quotes and invoices. It is a decision support tool and does not replace your own professional judgement.
3. Business use
Finethicals Tradesman is intended for people purchasing and using the service for purposes connected with their trade, business or profession. By subscribing, you confirm that you are using the service for business purposes.
4. Beta service
Finethicals Tradesman is currently provided as a beta product. We may improve, change or add features as we receive feedback. We will take reasonable care to keep the service working properly, but beta software may occasionally contain errors or experience interruptions.
5. Subscription price
The Finethicals Tradesman beta subscription costs £2.99 per month. Your subscription renews monthly until you cancel it. There is no minimum contract period. The total amount payable will be shown before purchase.
6. Beta customer price
Customers who join during the paid beta may continue paying £2.99 per month while their subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and later subscribe again, the price available at the time you return may apply. If a change in law, tax or another matter outside our reasonable control means we must change the price, we will give notice before the change takes effect.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future monthly payments. Unless we tell you otherwise, you can continue using Finethicals Tradesman until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
8. First payment refund
During the paid beta, Finethicals Limited offers a 14 day refund period for your first subscription payment. If you decide the software is not suitable within 14 days of first subscribing, contact hello@finethicals.co.uk. This beta refund promise is in addition to rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity carried out through your account. You must provide accurate account information and must not allow unauthorised people to use your account. Contact us promptly if you believe somebody has accessed your account without permission.
10. Your information
You remain responsible for information you enter into Finethicals Tradesman, including business information, job information, customer details, pricing information, quote information and invoice information. Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy Notice.
11. Your customers' information
If you enter personal information relating to your own customers, you are responsible for making sure you have an appropriate reason to collect and use that information. Finethicals Limited processes information entered into the software so that we can provide the service to you.
12. Pricing calculations
Finethicals Tradesman calculates pricing information using the figures you provide. The accuracy of results depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information you enter. You remain responsible for checking labour estimates, materials costs, business costs, profit targets, taxes and VAT where relevant, quotes, invoices, contractual commitments and the final price offered to your customer.
Finethicals does not guarantee that a particular price will produce a particular level of profit.
13. No tax, legal or financial advice
Information produced by Finethicals Tradesman is provided to assist with business decision making. It is not personalised tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. Where necessary, you should obtain advice appropriate to your circumstances.
14. Acceptable use
You must not use Finethicals Tradesman to break the law, access another user's account or information, interfere with the security of the service, introduce malicious software, copy or attempt to reproduce the software without permission, or use the service in a way that could damage Finethicals or other users.
15. Ownership
Finethicals Tradesman, its software, design, calculations, branding and other materials belonging to Finethicals Limited remain the property of Finethicals Limited or its licensors. Your subscription gives you permission to use the service. It does not transfer ownership of the software to you. You retain ownership of the business and job information you enter.
16. Availability
We aim to keep Finethicals Tradesman available, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access at all times. Access may occasionally be affected by maintenance, software updates, internet services or third party services used to operate Finethicals. Where reasonably possible, we will try to minimise disruption.
17. Our responsibility
Finethicals Limited does not accept responsibility for business decisions made solely on the basis of an unchecked calculation produced by the software. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service will not exceed the subscription fees you paid to Finethicals Limited during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where the law does not allow us to do so, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
18. Closing your account
If you ask us to close your account, normal application data associated with the account will generally be deleted within 30 days after account closure, subject to information we need to retain for legal, accounting, security or dispute purposes.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Finethicals Tradesman develops. If a significant change affects your subscription or rights, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect.
20. Ending the service
We may suspend or terminate an account where there has been serious misuse, fraud, unlawful activity or a material breach of these Terms. If Finethicals Limited decides to discontinue the paid service entirely, we will give reasonable notice where possible and will not charge for periods after access ends.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
